Science Journalists and professional communicators are invited one more time to participate in the World Conference of Science Journalists (WCSJ2013) that will be held in Helsinki, Finland, from June 24-28th, 2013.
WCSJ2013 offers 5 free places for the social media and citizen journalists. Interested candidates have to send an application via twitter or Facebook and write a message(s) about “how you’ll report from the conference and why you should be selected to this privileged group of only five”. Deadline for applications is April 15 2013.
This 8th edition of the conference, under the leading theme Critical thinking in the public sphere, will be an excellent opportunity to engage in international dialogue with researchers, decision makers and citizens. The conference hosts organizers are the Finnish Association of Science Editors and Journalists (FASEJ) and the World Federation of Science Journalists (WFSJ).
