On April 17th and 18th will take place in Barcelona 1st STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) International Conference under the theme Learning today to solve tomorrow!.
Registration and tickets selling are now open (10,00 € for 2-day). All conferences will have simultaneous translation.
STEAM Barcelona aims to bring together some of the most successful and evaluated projects in the field of research, methodology and practice on how STEM and STEAM is applied in both Europe and the United States.
A complete 2-day program with a wide range of speakers are invited to share and exchange experiences, methods, and strategies. Such as: Kristian Breton (Afterschool STEM Program Manager New York National Academy of Sciences), Ioannis Miaoulis (President & Director at the Boston Science Museum), Gail Cardew (Director of Education & Science at the Royal Institute of London), Maria Xanthoudaki (Director of Education and CREI at the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci), Agueda Gras-Velázquez (Science Programme Manager at European Schoolnet) and so on.
This 2-day Conference will be hosted by CosmoCaixa (the Science Museum in Barcelona) and it is organized by Council of Education and Universities of Barcelona City Hall and Fundació Bancaria “la Caixa” in the framework of the Science, Technology & Innovation Festival.
