ericeOn June 25th to 30th under the theme The Fundamental Science: from cutting-edge technologies to the heart of society will take place in Erice (Sicily, Italy) the 7th International School of Science Journalism and Communication (ISSJC).

The ISSJC had announced 35 fellowships for applicants from European countries (30) and for non-European countries (5). Deadline is March 10th.

Science journalists, science communicators and students of masters’ programmes in science journalism or in science communication can apply to these fellowships, which will cover:

  • School fee
  • Acommodation in Erice
  • Travel expenses to/from Erice: airfare, train and bus tickets (no taxi included) for participants from EU countries
  • Transfer from Palermo or Trapani airport to/from Erice (no taxi included) for participants based in non-European Countries

Interested candidates should send an email to Rita Bertelli including a CV and a motivation letter. On April 25th  ISSJC will inform the acceptance or the rejection to the applicants.

The course, that will be held at Ettore Majorana Foundation and Centre for Scientific Culture (EMFCSC), is based on lectures, working sessions and other activities held by international experts that will present the state-of-the-art of the main topic..
