4rt edition of Il·lustraciència, an award on scientific illustration

From 11^th January to 15^th March 2016 you can participate at Il·lustraciència, an international award on scientific illustration organized by the Associació Catalana de Comunicació Científica (Catalan Association of Science Communication, ACCC) and sponsored by the Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología from the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology, FECYT).

Can participate at this call all work teams or individuals aged over 18 years old regardless of the country of residence and each participant is able to submit only a single work. The subject of the illustrations must be related to science or nature and the technique is free. The proposals shall enclose a 150-200 words description of it in Spanish, Catalan or English. Il·lustraciència aims to disseminate the importance of science illustration and pushes it in all its forms, supporting science illustrators and rewarding them through the convening of the International Award for Scientific Illustration.
