Carolina Llorente and Aina Crosas teach the course “Speaking in media” for researchers at ISGlobal

On Wednesday, December 5, the “Speaking in media” course took place from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., given by Carolina Llorente and Aina Crosas. The course was aimed at ISGlobal researchers.

The course was divided into a theoretical-practical part, where we discussed how media usually interviews researchers and some real cases were shown. Emphasis was also put on non-verbal communication skills, such as body language: look, voice, gestures…

The practical part consisted of a role-play exercise. A television set with cameras and lighting was set up, where the researcher had to answer questions posed by the trainers, who pretended to be journalists.
