The 11th of February was proclaimed the International Day of Women and Girls in Science by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015 “to recognize the critical role of women and girls in science and technology” and to promote their access and full and equal participation in science, thus contributing to achieving gender equality.

The students of the 28th programme of the Master’s Degree in Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra-Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM) have illustrated some brief reflections on the meaning of this day. They have used artificial intelligence tools, as well as free-use programmes and open-use image banks to express themselves.

We share their work with you and look forward to your comments.
