Job offer: Editor of Research Europe (London)

Research Europe, Europe’s leading independent magazine covering the politics and funding of academic research, is looking for an editor. This is a full-time position, however flexible working arrangements will be considered. The deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 14 April 2017.

Based at the London head office in Shoreditch, the editor will be taking charge at a pivotal moment in the continent’s history. It will plan and oversee our coverage of European elections, the next Framework funding programme, and the build-up to – and impact of – Brexit. Salary range. £40K – £50K 

The ideal applicant will be an experienced editor, news editor, or a senior reporter. You will have worked on a newspaper, website, or a magazine or journal read by academics.
