On May 16 Gema Revuelta and Carolina Llorente taught the course “Making research gender sensitive“. 13 people registered for the course and all attendees were doctoral students in Biomedicine or Information Technology and Communications of the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF).
The course was specially designed to address gender research, this means sampling, sex and gender analysis of the data and the approach of the research itself (objectives, research questions …). At the beginning of the course there was also a brief description of Human Resources in research (visibility, career progression…).
The course, organized by CLIK-UPF, was offered within the framework of the training program for PhD students.
