On-site press registration for the 2018 AAAS Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas will open Thursday, February 15, at 7 a.m. Central Time in Level 3, Room 7 of the Austin Convention Center. To expedite the on-site registration process, please come prepared with a photo ID and the appropriate credentials. For information on credentialing, please visit the website.

Beginning Thursday morning, February 15, frequent news briefings from the AAAS Annual Meeting will be accessible via streaming webcast. That day, the webcasts of embargoed news briefings including one related to a research paper from the Science family of journals will be available for reporters registered with EurekAlert! at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., respectively.

Archived videos of all news briefings, including the embargoed briefings, will be available online and accessible to all after the briefings take place or the embargoes lift. During the meeting, you may access webcasts and videos of the news briefings.

It is about a 15-minute cab ride to the Austin Convention Center from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
