This meeting will be a key moment to discuss important issues for the HEIRRI project, such as the Internationalisation Call for Scholarships, the teaching materials following the training programmes, and the coming pilots. Other issues that will be discussed are the Exploitation potential of the project or the partnership with museums, together with the communication actions of HEIRRI and the boosting of the Forum Online.

Pompeu Fabra University, apart from being the project Coordinator, is also the partner in charge of the creation of the HEIRRI training materials. These materials teach the concept of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) using inquiry-based learning methodologies and promoting a broad understanding of RRI as an approach that encourages reflection, transdisciplinarity and critical thinking.

The HEIRRI project is one of the first initiatives that Horizon2020 sets in motion in order to integrate RRI in the university education. Its aim is to ensure that future science and engineering professionals (and from other related fields) incorporate RRI in their activity.
