.European Bioplastics, the association representing the interests of Europe’s thriving bioplastics’ industry, has considering that false or misleading communication of environmental product properties, is a widespread problem in the marketplace.
In order to address to that important issue, they have published an Environmental Communications Guide for Bioplastics that gives an overview of general guidelines for environmental communication and specific recommendations for bioplastics. A short summary of the Guide and key findings is available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch and Swedish.
Eurpean Bioplastis is also offering a workshop on environmental communications for bioplastics to raise awareness concerning the issue of greenwashing and good environmental communications. The 1st workshop will take place on November 5 in Berlin and registration is open.
