The KiiCS‘ “Do-it-Yourself Incubation Guide”: a Guide to Incubating Innovation in Art and Science is already available. Now that all the activities have been organized and the project is about to end, this guide has been created to explain how an incubation activity connecting science and art with creativity can be developed. All European members of the project have collaborated in the writing of the guide.
The “Do-it-Yourself” tool includes recommendations, tips and good practices learnt by the experience of all partners whilst organizing their activities. The file is address to all of those interested in developing incubation processes to bring together science, art and creativity.
The guide can be downloaded for free in eight languages (Dutch, English, French, Italian, Polish, Slovenian, Spanish and Swedish) from the project’s website.
KiiCS (Knowledge Incubation in Innovation and Creation for Science) is a three-year project funded by the European Commission led by the European Network of Science Centres and Museums, ECSITE. Gema Revuelta, professor at the Experimental and Health Science Department of Universitat Pompeu Fabra (CEXS-UPF) and Deputy Director of the Science Communication Observatory (OCC-UPF) is responsible for the project in Spain, and Núria Saladié, journalist and MSc in Science Communication, coordinates the activities in Barcelona.
