jornadasInscriptions for the II Jornadas de Divulgación Innovadora D+I are now open. The event is a professional forum that wants to look at science communication from a different point of view. This communication congress -with debates, conferences, workshops and much more- will be undertaken in Zaragoza on October the 17th and 18th. It is aimed at communication experts but also at scientist, students and anybody interested in its content. Check out the program.

Science Communicators will tell their experiences through the most innovative science dissemination, for example, Ariane Koek -the artistic program director of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) of Geneva-, the biologist Ricardo Moure –winner of the Spanish FameLab– and the physicist Gustavo Ariel Schwartz -director of Mestizajes program-, as well as journalists, scientists and researchers, among others. See the speakers’ list.

The European project NERRI (Neuroenhancement Responsible Research and Innovation) of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (OCC-UPF) will be present at the second edition of this Spanish scientific communication meeting. At the session: “Juntos. El público toma la palabra”, Gabriela Ojeda –researcher assistant at the OCC-UPF- will talk about public engagement in the Mobilisation and Mutual Learning activities that are currently being developed within NERRI´s framework in Spain.

The event is coordinated by Pilar Perla and Elena Sanz, and is organized by Fundación Zaragoza Ciudad del Conocimiento. It has the collaboration of Ayuntamiento de Zaragoza, Universidad de Zaragoza, CSIC, AECC, Ibervcivis and OCC-UPF.
