Position of Lecturer in Health Communication and Media

The University of the West Indies – St. Augustine situaded in St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago, islands of the Caribbean Sea, seeks for a lecturer in Health Communication and Multi-Media Resource Development.

Qualifications:
Ph.D.in Communication with a strong background in the use of multi-media resources in tertiary level teaching.

Experience:
Teaching Communication and developing Multi-Media resources for supporting teaching and learning.
Sscript writing, storyboarding and television production .
Experience in teaching communication to medical students.
Evidence of research activity at tertiary level academic institutions.

Areas of Specialization:
Health Communication, Multi-Media Resource Development, Educational Research.

Responsibilities:
Teaching medical undergraduate Health Communication courses;
Developing high quality multi-media teaching resources;
Developing a high quality educational research programme;
Attracting funding for educational research programmes;
Assisting in medical curriculum planning and review;
Other duties as deemed appropriate.

This is a full time job.
