.Cancer Research UK, the world’s largest charity dedicated to beating cancer through research, is looking for a Science Communications Officer for its Angel Head Office in Islington (Greater London, UK).
Key description:
Responsible for delivering creative and engaging copy about the Charity’s research portfolio to meet the bespoke needs of fundraising teams and build deeper supporter relationships. As well as researching and translating science content for fundraising teams.
Requirements:
* Proven track record in communicating complex science to a range of non-scientific audiences
* Must have a strong science background, ideally to PhD level or equivalent.
* Has the ability to inspire others through compelling written communications

It is a full time position and the contract type is for 6 months (Fixed Term Contract). The Salary is about £27,750 – £31,750 per annum inclusive.
