.Cancer Research UK, the world’s largest charity dedicated to beating cancer through research, is looking for a Senior Science Communications Manager for its Angel Head Office in Islington (Greater London, UK) for a 12 months maternity cover.

Key description:
To develop and deliver a strategy for the collation, management and use of portofolio information in support of the fundraising strategy for Major Giving and Appeals and to develop mechanisms to ensure delivery of information solutions that support and drive high-value funding according to ongoing and changing needs.

Requirements:
* Be dynamic, creative and self-motivated individual with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Must have a strong science background, ideally to PhD level or equivalent in biomedical or related field.
* Experience of working in the science communication field, and of science writing and public speaking for lay audiences
