Ecsite, the European network of science centres and museums qith 400 institutional members, is recruiting a Project Officer in charge of running EU-funded and other collaborative projects in science communication for Ecsite, and a Web Editor and Communications Officer in charge of developing and updating Ecsite’s website and other communication means such as the monthly e-news and the quarterly printed newsletter. Deadline for applications of both vacancies is November 15th.
The common thread uniting the Ecsite member institutions is a commitment to public engagement, communicating science through accessible, interactive exhibits and programmes. Ecsite connects member institutions through projects and activities and facilitates the exchange of ideas and best practice on current issues. To this end, Ecsite organises a five day Annual Conference that welcomes 1000 professionals in science communication that includes an exhibitors area, offers various services to its members and is involved in numerous collaborative projects, many of which are co-financed by the European Commission.
